Movacar PRO – Questions and Answers

Movacar PRO is open to both individual drivers (with a trade license!) and businesses. In principle, anyone who wants to earn money with vehicle relocations can take on jobs through Movacar PRO.

As a self-employed driver or business, Movacar PRO gives you full control and transparency over how much you want to earn. On the one hand, you can accept many jobs at a fixed price. For other trips, you can submit a price proposal to make sure your calculation adds up in the end. You can also use the route planner to combine several trips into a seamless tour, so you can earn money on the return leg too.

Example earnings: Based on our experience, vehicle relocations typically pay around 40 to 50 cents per kilometer. On a trip from Munich to Frankfurt, that would work out to around 200 euros.

If you already have your own insurance for vehicle transports, it also covers your Movacar PRO jobs. If you don't have your own insurance, you're automatically covered through Movacar PRO.

Important: If you want to use the insurance provided through Movacar PRO, a minimum age of 25 and a maximum age of 67 applies!

With a red license plate, you can relocate an unregistered motor vehicle on behalf of a customer. These plates are specifically intended for commercial relocations and may only be fitted to vehicles that don't have their own registration.

Movacar PRO is free for you as a driver or business. You also don't have to pay ANY commission on jobs.

No. You can submit fuel receipts and other costs such as tolls, ferries, etc. as expenses. This is done in the Movacar PRO app via a convenient upload feature.

You'll be reimbursed together with your trip settlement.

As part of the sign-up process, we'll ask you to have the following documents and information ready:

As a sole proprietorship or partnership (e.g. GbR or sole trader): trade license or commercial register extract, certificate of good conduct, insurance policy if applicable, valid bank account (IBAN).

As a corporation (e.g. GmbH or AG): commercial register extract, insurance policy if applicable, valid bank account (IBAN).

Note: Once your documents have been reviewed, we'll email you to confirm your identity and driving license via online verification, if needed.

We store your account number so we can pay you for the trips you've completed.

Important: We never withdraw money from your account or share your account number with anyone! Providing your account number does NOT authorize any direct debit!

Once a vehicle relocation is successfully completed, you can invoice your jobs. As part of this, you can also upload receipts such as fuel or toll invoices. The final amount is then transferred to your bank account.
