Camper vans from roadsurfer: New terms and conditions

Over the past few years, our camper van partner roadsurfer has brokered an increasing number of one-way camper vans to private travellers via Movacar. However, the number of last-minute cancellations has increased so much in recent months that it has become increasingly difficult to transport the vehicles reliably. In order to continue our one way offer for only 1 Euro, we have to adjust the conditions for all Roadsurfer campervans. We hope for your understanding and that you will continue to be satisfied with roadsurfer campervans!

New conditions:

  • 100 reservation fee: When you book a Roadsurfer campervan there is a reservation fee of €100 in addition to the Movacar fee, which will be refunded in full if the vehicle is returned in good condition. If you cancel more than 7 days prior to pick-up, the fee will also be refunded in full. Refunds may take up to seven working days to process.
  • New cancellation policy: Cancellation of a Roadsurfer campervan is free of charge up to 7 days prior to pick-up. After that, a cancellation fee will be charged - the €100 reservation fee will be retained as compensation.
  • New refuelling policy for 1 Euro Campers: Refund up to €100. The vehicle is delivered with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. Movacar will reimburse up to €100 for the cost of refuelling during the transfer. If the cost of refuelling is less than €100, Movacar will refund the difference. As before, the link to upload the fuel receipt and the bank details for the refund will be included in the Movacar booking confirmation.
